At Shellworks, we believe that sustainability should never come at the cost of performance. Our ongoing partnership with Wild is a testament to that belief. What started as a challenge to fix a design flaw has evolved into a three-year journey of redefining how we use and refill our everyday essentials.

From Bamboo to Vivomer

In 2023, Wild introduced a pioneering refillable body wash. While the bamboo case was a step in the right direction, real-world testing revealed a hurdle: the humid shower environment caused the natural bamboo to mold.

Enter Body Wash Refill 2.0. Working closely with Wild’s design agency, Morrama, we provided a durable, high-performance solution using Vivomer. Launched in 2024 to huge success, this update proved that sustainable materials can stand up to the toughest environments without losing their circularity.

"Working with Morrama on Wild's refill system has been an incredible experience for us. Their design expertise brought our innovative Vivomer material to life, creating a durable, user-friendly, and beautiful product that perfectly balances functionality and sustainability." -  Amir, Co-Founder of Shellworks

2025: From Shower Gel to Deodorant

Building on the success of the shower gel range and now backed by Unilever, Wild expanded the use of Vivomer into their product range with their latest innovation: the refillable roll-on deodorant.

Designed to be a "joy to use," the new roll-on features a premium silhouette made from anodized aluminum and 50% post-consumer recycled plastic. But the real magic is inside.

  • The 50ml Refill: Made entirely from Vivomer, it is fully compostable and breaks down completely in soil within a year.

  • Seamless Experience: Simply pop off the bottom, unscrew the empty, and screw in the new one. No mess, no plastic waste.

A Shared Future of Circularity

After three years of collaboration, Shellworks and Wild are just getting started. Our shared values of innovation and sustainability remain at the heart of everything we do. As we look toward the future of cosmetics, we are constantly exploring new ways to integrate Vivomer into Wild’s product roadmap, ensuring that every refill is a step toward a plastic-free world.

You can find the Wild x Shellworks range online at Wild's store, or on the shelves of your favorite retailers, including Sainsbury’s, Holland & Barrett, Boots, and Target.
